The 2022 Redbird Migration Conference comes with plenty of changes to note.

After moving to a virtual event in 2020, the conference makes its return to in-person meetings at a new location in Lakeland, Florida, and makes a permanent move to the first quarter of the year from its usual timeframe in October.

The eleventh annual conference will take place February 8 and 9 at the Aerospace Center for Excellence, adjacent to the Lakeland Linder International Airport, home to the Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo.

Speakers include AOPA Air Safety Institute Senior Vice President Richard McSpadden; designated pilot examiners; and other industry professionals from companies including FlightAware, Cirrus Aircraft, Vaughn College, Sporty’s Pilot Shop, and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association.

AOPA has maintained a close working relationship with Redbird Migration over the last decade and is pleased to continue its involvement this year, not just with keynote speakers, but also with the announcement of the national winners of the 2021 Flight Training Experience Awards and celebration of all distinguished and regional award recipients. Winners were chosen based on results of the AOPA Flight Training Experience Survey, one component of the AOPA Flight Training Initiative.

If you are planning to attend, make sure to check back with the Migration 2022 website for the most up-to-date information.
