Study finds bizav leaders bullish on sustainable fuel

In addition, 86 percent of those surveyed said that SAF will help the overall business aviation market. The company announced the findings during a media event at the National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition in Orlando, Florida, on October 17.

“The business aviation sector is acutely aware of the need to find ways to reduce the impact of flying on the environment,” said Sean McGeough, head of corporate jets for North America. Airbus Corporate Jets President Benoit Defforge remarked that half of ACJ aircraft are SAF-capable with the goal of 100 percent by 2050.

The company also provided an update on its first bizjet, the ACJ TwoTwenty. To date, two orders of the aircraft, launched in 2020 with a first flight in 2021, have been received with expected delivery in early 2023. Overall, ACJ reports five orders for its aircraft with three deliveries so far this year.
